Planting Information:
When and where to plant: May be planted either Spring or Fall. Sow seed direct in moist, iron-rich soil. Plants should be 12 inches apart.
Care: Keep well-drained. May be cut to the ground once or twice per season, but then should be immediately fed and watered.
Harvesting: Gather leaves as desired. Young leaves need only brief cooking, while mature leaves may be very tart and require several changes of cooking water.
Storage: Store seed in cool, dry place. Heat and moisture can severely reduce germination. -
