As CANNA became known as the specialist in coco production and famous for its CANNA Coco 50 liter bags, we received many requests over the years for coco in a compressed form but with the same high quality. CANNA would only consider introducing a brick if it would really be different than any other brick available.

After several years of development and testing, CANNA succeeded in producing a coco brick that is the exact same high quality medium that CANNA is known for but in a compressed form and one that truly makes a difference. A hole difference! Its most distinctive feature is the hole. It creates extra surface which makes it easier to absorb water. Therefore the CANNA COCO Brick expands extremely fast.

The CANNA Coco Brick is a brick version of the brands premiere Coco medium. CANNA Coco Bricks are specially designed to hold more water; helping it expand quickly. CANNA Coco Bricks are buffered for use, meaning CANNA has taken preventative measures to ensure the coco will not absorb the nutrients meant for your crops. Because of their shape, CANNA Coco Bricks are easy to store.

It is washed and buffered, not steam sterilized and RHP certified for horticulture. The buffering process allows CANNA to “pre-program” the medium to a certain age. This ensures the same consistent, high quality medium time after time. The composition of coco components blended together offers the best water-air ratio.

CANNA COCO medium matches perfectly with CANNA Coco nutrients. Due to the special characteristics of coco and the applied washing and buffering process, it is possible for CANNA to combine vegetative and flowering nutrients in one nutrient mix. This means the nutrient can be used throughout the growing cycle and there is no need to worry about the proper time to convert from grow- to bloom nutrients.

How to use: 

1. Open the bag. If you only need 10L of coco, use the fracture line to easily split the brick in half.
2. Add clean water and be sure to pour into the hole as well, adding 0.5-1L at a time until the coco is entirely expanded. Lukewarm water will increase the speed of expansion.
3. If needed, loosen the coco a bit with your hands into a uniform product.
4. The bag has grip handles which makes it very easy to carry the prepared coco to your pots, bags, beds or wherever you want it to go.
